Fleetwood athletic trainers are under the medical direction of St. Luke's University Health Network. Below is the protocol statment from St. Luke's Sports Medicine's updated concussion policy. 

1. Protocol Statement 
2. This document outlines the protocols and procedures to assist in the management of concussion for the safe return to academics and athletics for patients managed by St. Luke’s University Health Network. All parties should acknowledge that each concussion is unique, and that this policy provides guidelines for care; however, care plans should be individualized to address the needs of each patient and each unique injury with oversight of appropriate healthcare providers (ie. athletic trainers, physicians, etc).
